Northern Peninsula Area (Queensland) 22-26 September, 2014
The 2014 Festival was hosted by the Indigenous Remote Communications Association (IRCA) in partnership with Queensland Aboriginal Remote Media (QRAM), the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council (NPARC), Indigenous Community Television (ICTV), and the Torres Strait Islanders Media Association (TSIMA).
The 16th Festival was held at the tip of Cape York Peninsula, in the Northern Peninsula Area (NPA) which incorporates five communities - Injinoo, Umagico, Bamaga, New Mapoon and Seisia.
For 5 days remote media workers and industry guests descended on the NPA for an exciting industry program, free public events and live radio broadcast across Australia.
A number of media outlets also covered the events at the Festival.
